The fashion department store “Walz” celebrated their 100th anniversary in the congress centre of the “Maritim Hotel” in Ulm on March, 30th.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the famous fashion store the company Baldessarini surprised with a very special birthday present: a fashion show with prominent models for the host family Bleicher, owner of the company since three generations.
Ten famous faces of the film and entertainment business presented the new fall/winter collection 2006. Upfront bartender Charles Schumann in a green corduroy suit, followed by Heino Ferch and his wife Marie-Jeanette who, dressed in a red corduroy male suit, caused extraordinary excitement.

For Ulm it is quite a highlight to see so many prominent faces at once, so the surprise for the 1200 guests was all the bigger when the star parade continued. Alexandra Kamp (dressed in an English tweed suit) with her boyfriend and German musical singer Jan Ammann (dressed in a long north American badger fur coat) and also singer Haddaway, former professional boxer Henry Maske, actor Hardy Krüger jr., Mark Keller and Uwe Ochsenknecht who was wearing a Louisiana crocodile leather jacket.

In addition to Baldessarini also other labels showed their collections and perspectives for the coming fall/winter collection. The actual trends were supplemented through passed fashion decades and gave a survey of the last century.

Besides musical star Michael Kelley, who provided the musical entertainment, the group “La Brigade de sapeur-pompiers de Paris” inspired the audience with their acrobatic show. Completely dressed in Baldessarini the presenter Cherno Jobatey led the guests through the birthday evening.
